The light within the Darkness

Revenge does not exist within the light. It only exists within the dark.

To become revengeful is to take the first step into the darkness and encase our heart in stone forever.

The further we move along the path of revenge, the darker and heavier the heart becomes. As we sink into the abyss, we shed tears as the darkness feasts on our anger, hate, and dishonesty.

There is a faint light in the darkness. It is the creator showing that there can still be light within our heart.

Only through complete honesty, forgiveness, love, and acceptance of one’s own wrongdoing will we be able to leave the darkness behind and heal our true heart.

Verse below, an extract from my first book, Our Radiant Heart and the Medicine Wheel.

Walking through a tall field of wheat, I could not see where I was going; I had become lost. Every way I turned, everything appeared the same; I was in a maze. I sat, and spirit world came to me. I asked them to help me find my way out. My Grandfather told me to stand up, close my eyes, and embrace the wind on my back. He spoke, “Be ready to take everything within your grasp that appears before you, nothing can stand in your way. These are the rewards you have been waiting for.” I walked, taking nothing from the field. I just followed the wind and as my Heart sailed into the breeze, I soon arrived at the edge of the field. Looking back, Grandfather reminded me that each shaft of wheat grows from a single seed, yet we plant the seeds in mass to feed the many. If what you grow is only for yourself, then others will be starved of you. No one will know who you truly are.
