The Journey Continues

An incredible stage of my life journey, has transitioned into the next phase. For the last 17 years, Sue, my wife and I had been living in Cyprus and this year 2024 we relocated to the UK with our beloved dog Bodhi. Just before we left Cyprus, I became ill and had to have three separate operations. As difficult as it was to manage this, we pulled through and finally completed this part of our life journey.

We relocated because we both wanted to be near to our families, especially as my mother is now 94 and I love her very much. Upon returning to the UK, I discovered a huge change in the energy, especially compared to when we left. However we have to now get on with our lives, but it has been made more difficult with all the beautiful people we left behind. My school called Heart Beat Tai Chi and Qigong, had without doubt become a place to learn authentic Yang style Tai Chi. I am so grateful to all of the love and support I received from the Tai Chi community and made some amazing connections with them all. To ensure that the learning continues and the lineage stays strong and healthy, I have left behind two capable teachers, so every person can continue. These are:

Based in Cyprus: Irene Phinikaridou, Master Nicoletta Siapani.

Based in the UK: Grandmaster Vasilios.

Recently I have moved into the Grandmaster position after 47 years of Tai Chi and with my teacher Grandmaster John having passed away 7 years ago, it was the next step for me. I will also love to leave behind me a fully trained Master or maybe more… watch this space.

Where is the school now and what am I doing.

Heart Beat Tai Chi and Qigong, is still alive and kicking. I will be starting a beginners class where we are located at the moment, next week. I am looking forward to continuing the schools journey by individual classes, live and online. Live workshops in the UK and in Cyprus. I will be expanding the Qigong, meditation and heart work classes as well, with a stream of new teachings to come.

I would like to say thank you to all the students in Cyprus, for an incredible journey, which was filled with love, kindness and joy. I will see you all online, in the UK and definitely in 2025 when I visit Cyprus.
